With over 30 years of nursing experience and more than 12 years in a senior safeguarding position, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise through training. My goal is to support staff in understanding safeguarding and Trauma Informed Care. This training equips individuals to navigate the safeguarding process and effectively use legislation to protect adults at risk and children in their daily practice. I have established this training service with the invaluable support of my esteemed colleagues, who also possess extensive experience in Safeguarding Adults, Children, the Mental Capacity Act, and Trauma Informed Care.

Our team of associates offer bespoke training tailored to any organization or service, focusing on specific areas of interest.

The training levels initially available are:

Safeguarding Level 3 and 4 Adults training focuses on core competencies, knowledge, skills, behaviour, information sharing, multi-agency working, and legislation to meet the learning outcomes set out in the – RCN Adult Safeguarding Roles and Competencies for Health Care Staff (2024). Safeguarding Level 3 and 4 Children training is based on the RCN documents: Safeguarding Children and Young People – Every Nurse's Responsibility (2021) and Safeguarding Children and Young People: Roles and Competencies for Healthcare Staff (2019).
